Available & Past Kittens

We only have 1-3 litters each year. Availability is updated regularly below and on our Facebook page. If no kittens are currently listed as available, please check our “News & Updates” section towards the bottom of our home page.

OUR PROCESS  We do not operate on a traditional first-come basis. Instead, we review applications once kittens are born and match them carefully with the right homes. 

Step 1 — Connect with Us: Please share your name and preferred contact method to let us know you’re interested in a kitten or would like to be added to our waitlist. There is no commitment of any sort at this stage other than we will notify you when our next litter is born. Contact us at MCOCascades@gmail.com or by phone (text is best) 541-241-6449   

Step 2 — Let’s Get to Know Each Other: Interested families will be asked a few questions about their home, experience, and what they are looking for. You’re welcome to answer these questions when initially reaching out (questions listed below). During this time, we will be observing the kittens to identify their unique personalities and preferences and posting updates (including videos and individual introductions) on our Facebook page so you can also get to know them as they develop. Before reservation, families can expect bi-weekly photo and video updates. Once reserved, updates are provided weekly. 

Step 3 — Approval: Approved families will be invited to a video call or in-person visit around 8 weeks of age to meet the kittens and discuss potential matches. This meeting is mandatory to proceed. 

Step 4 — Choosing Your Kitten : Deposits for general “pick of the litter” are accepted starting at 6 weeks of age once kittens are stable and personalities begin to develop. We always reserve first pick. Placement is based on best fit rather than order of inquiry, usually occurring after 8 weeks.

Step 5 — Securing Your Kitten:  Our contract must be completed and signed by both parties prior to the deposit. Pickup arrangements should be finalized by the time they turn 12 weeks, including an exam scheduled within 72 hours of pickup (see contract).

Health

We’re always thrilled to share and go over our health tests and results upon request.

Socialization

Our kittens are raised in our home and receive structured early socialization including: 

• Exposure to dogs

 • Car rides

 • Harness introduction

 • Basic clicker training

 • Positive experiences with a variety of people 
We enjoy accommodating reasonable socialization requests for future families. 

Visits

 In-person visits are encouraged for approved families after 8 weeks of age. Video calls are available for families outside the area.  

Going Home

 Kittens are typically ready at 12 weeks of age. Their final veterinary visit will include a full veterinary evaluation confirming they are in great health (or immediately disclosed otherwise) and will be fully vaccinated (FVRCP, Rabies, Leukemia & FIV, deworming). Spay/Neuter and microchip prior to leaving are optional. Cost is determined by our vet.

 Transportation 

Local pickup is preferred, but we are willing to arrange meeting if possible. For out-of-state homes, we can help coordinate a third-party pet courier. Please note that if you opt to hire a courier, the homecoming package can be reduced per the courier’s limitations. 

Pricing 

Our kittens typically range $2,000–$3,000, $500 of which is a non-refundable deposit. This includes their TICA registration form and homecoming package with essential supplies to get started.
